At The Evolved All Female Gym, we know stepping into the gym can feel intimidating, especially if you’re unsure where to start.
Maybe you’ve been out of routine for years, maybe you’ve never touched a barbell, or maybe you’ve only ever tried cardio, yoga, or Pilates and still feel like something’s missing.
What you really want is more than just “getting fit.” You want to feel strong in your body, confident in your movements, and proud of what you can do.
That’s exactly why we want you to meet Beth. She’s not just another personal trainer in Brisbane.
She’s walked the same path of doubt, rediscovered her own strength, and now dedicates her life to helping women of all ages do the same.
Beth’s story didn’t begin in a gym full of barbells and dumbbells. She started her career behind a desk, working in administration at a university and later taking on an internship at her church.
But before all that, she was a committed netball player, representing the Northern Territory and travelling interstate on a weekly basis.
Balancing elite sport with full-time work was exhausting, but it gave her discipline and resilience. Then, when her time as an athlete ended, she felt the same shift many women experience when routine and identity change.
The hours at her desk left her restless, and without the structure of training and competition, she struggled to feel like herself.
The turning point came when Beth began coaching younger girls in netball. Watching their faces light up as they learned new skills was something she couldn’t ignore. She loved seeing them grow stronger and more confident, and it ignited a new passion.
That spark pushed her to learn more about strength training, not just for her own growth, but so she could help others find the same sense of achievement she saw in her athletes.
Beth admits it wasn’t always smooth. Like many women, she first saw the gym as a place for image, a way to look a certain way rather than feel strong. And, like many women walking into a gym for the first time, she felt the fear of not knowing what to do.
But those struggles shaped her perspective. Over time, she learned that strength training is not about chasing an image. It’s about living better, moving with confidence, and rediscovering what your body is capable of.
That realisation didn’t just change her, it became the foundation of how she coaches today.
Beth remembers being awarded a scholarship with the Northern Territory Institute of Sport. It was the first time she experienced structured strength training, and it opened her eyes to what focused, intelligent training could do.
Later, as a personal trainer, she saw the same breakthroughs in her own clients. One close friend, nervous and unsure after pregnancy, had never trained before. With Beth’s support, she began lifting weights she never thought possible.
The scale didn’t change overnight, but her strength and confidence did. That moment reminded Beth why she does what she does.
When you ask Beth why she coaches, her answer is simple: it’s not just about the workouts.
That philosophy shapes every session she delivers.
Beth works with women of all ages through 1:1 Personal Training at The Evolved All Female Gym. Her coaching style blends encouragement with accountability, making strength training approachable for beginners and challenging for those ready to take the next step.
Whether you’re looking to rebuild your strength after years away, balance the demands of motherhood, or finally move past the fear of the gym, Beth’s approach is tailored, personal, and empowering.
She knows what it feels like to walk in nervous. She knows what it feels like to doubt yourself. And she knows how to help you move past that hesitation, step by step.
Training with Beth means more than learning how to lift weights. It means gaining confidence in your own body. It means discovering strength you didn’t know you had. And it means feeling supported every step of the way by a coach who genuinely cares.
Beth’s clients describe her as encouraging, patient, and deeply invested in their success. She makes the gym a place where you can feel at home while also being pushed to achieve more than you thought possible.
If you’ve been thinking about starting but feel hesitant, Beth’s advice is simple: take the first step. You have nothing to lose, and everything to gain.
The first step is a Strength Assessment at The Evolved All Female Gym.

"Postmenopause hit hard for Helen, constant fatigue, a busy home life, and the weight just wouldn’t budge. With a move, rep hockey, and full-time work, she had every reason to pause. But by committing to smart strength training at The Evolved, Helen rebuilt her body. at 54"

“After a serious health scare, Tash turned her life around. As a night-shift nurse with a Coca-Cola habit, she swapped cardio for strength training, dropped 20kg, and reclaimed her confidence, all while working nights. Now, she’s not just healthier… she’s unstoppable.”

“At 50, Vicki was training hard but getting nowhere. After just 7 weeks at The Evolved, she increased her protein, lifted smarter, and unlocked visible abs, a 60kg squat, and her first chin-up. Her secret? Recovery, strength and the right plan.”
“Leni left a clinical rehab gym at 63 to chase a younger more energetic vibe. Now she lifts 40kg, rocks her favourite black skirt to a Goo Goo Dolls concert, and feels 30 years younger. She’s proof that age doesn’t define your limits, strength does.”
